Our Mission

The mission of Trail Tenders is to enhance the quality of the educational and interpretive programs for the public benefit within the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center complex, and to further the Center's goals throughout Baker County.

Programs & Events

The Center offers a robust schedule of interpretive programs, films, musical guests, and special events throughout the year. Living history dramas, lectures, and musical performances bring a new angle to the history of exploration, emigration, and settlement of the West.

Education

The National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center attracts over 40,000 visitors and  more than 5,000 students annually. We offer a wide variety of educational resources online for use in classrooms, homeschooling, or just for fun!
